PICCADILLY CIRCUS MURAL

Piccadilly Circus Coats on 264 Rathdowne St, Carlton Nth, offers an extensive range of quality ladies and men’s coats for all ages. Ever since I can remember passing by this place, I have looked at the mural that adorns the corner of the shop and illustrates a glowing wintry scene of Victorian London at Piccadilly Circus. The mural always cheers me up for some reason! It was unfortunate that recently the mural was spoiled by taggers, but I was glad to see the damage repaired.

This post is part of the Monday Murals meme,
and also par tof the Mellow Yellow Monday meme.

  13. The covered portico also evokes the Belle Epoque of the mural. But why Heinz soup? Now THAT made me smile. Thanks for contributing to Monday Mural.
