WINTER SUNSHINE IN MELBOURNE
We have had a couple of days of terrible weather with wind, rain, and cold temperatures that have been dipping even further than what the thermometer shows because of the chill factor. It was pleasant at lunchtime today to have some sunshine between the rainy morning and rainy evening. As I had a meeting out, I took the opportunity to walk by the riverside and managed to capture these wintry, sunshiny skies. It was good weather for seagulls too, by the looks of it...
This post is part of Sylvia's Skywatch Friday meme.
Seems to be a glorious winter!
ReplyDeleteWonderful clarity in this series Nick.
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots - but I am glad it is not cold here! Are those some sort of water taxis or ferries in that first shot?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteAnother terrific series, Nick!! You and I both had some seagulls today! Hope you have a great weekend with beautiful weather!
ReplyDeleteGreat captures I never asked you-which camera?
ReplyDeleteI used a Sony Cybershot pocket camera for these, Ajeya.
DeleteLovely blue skies!
ReplyDeleteWon't take long until spring arrives, so it feels. Please have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Nick

These are great shots. I like the last one.
ReplyDeleteA welcome reprieve. Rough weather in Sydney too at the moment.
