Galleria is situated int eh block bounded by Bourke, Elizabeth and Little Collins Streets, Melbourne and is one of the CBD's most prominent retail spaces. Galleria has over 30 retail and service stores including Sony Centre, The North Face, Degani Bakery and Cafe, Joe Black the Tailor and Just Cuts as well as a light filled food court catering for a quick snack to a sit down cafe-style lunch.
I have blogged before about the Degani mural, but here are some murals in the same style from the Food Hall int eh Galleria centre, highlighting food and retail opportunities in the Centre.

ReplyDeletemost of the food courts here are located in the mall basement. it's one of the reasons why i don't like to eat at the food court.:p
I like the brightness of the artwork in this light filled space. I know it well. Very popular. Sometimes hard to find a table at lunch time.

ReplyDeleteFruity Roll
all the white bits make it look like a work interrupted - perhaps he had to stop and eat?

Wonderful murals. I am so glad that you gave us the close-ups, Nick!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to advertise the offerings in the mall. Such a clean looking spot. The mural style so reminds me of the graphics from the late 60s-early 70s. It has something to do with the fine lines associated with the blocks of color. Thanks, Nick, for contributing to Monday Mural.
ReplyDeletelike the artworks and love spicy food, the mall is very clean and so big. dropping by from Mellow Yellow Monday
