MELBOURNE SUMMER

Summer is finally here in Melbourne, with several days of temperature maxima being in the 30˚C vicinity. Although it can get quite uncomfortable because of the humidity, most people are grateful for the warm, sunny days and dazzlingly blue skies. The Yarra River running through the City is quite a bonus and there is no shortage of people lining up to use the waterways transportation, pleasure craft and boats, launches, ferries and cruising boats. Alternatively it is always good to have a cool drink at the Ponyfish Island, bar and café, situated right on the water, under the Yarra Footbridge.

    Melbourne is sparkling at the moment. Blue skies, green grass and much festive atmosphere. Have you seen the Town Hall Light Show Nick. It's certainly worth a visit. Cheers J.

    The Ponyfish Island cafe is so hard to photograph effectively! I have tried several times! You have managed great shots of it! Splendid photos!
