AGORA THEATRE - LA TROBE UNIVERSITY
The Agora is an open plaza at La Trobe University, in Melbourne's outer Northern suburb of Bundoora. The Agora is the main hub of La Trobe and indeed the centre of the university revolving around the circle of lawn and surrounded by the Library, services, food and coffee shops galore. One of the main attractions is the Agora Theatre, which has a fine mural adorning its façade. The mural was painted in June 1987 by Linda and Ray Richards and is still doing well in terms of preservation!
This post is part of the Monday Murals meme,
I think I have seen every movie represented in this neat mural. I also spotted two Australians... Errol Flynn and Mel Gibson.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree with Andy. That are a lot of famous film stars here in famous films. And very good pictured.
ReplyDeleteOldies but goodies ... what a neat mural.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great mural for a theatre!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun mural.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of a really interesting mural. I like how you have isolated sections as closeups too. Thank you for sharing them on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
