FRUITS & NUTS

It's fruiting time for many decorative plants in the gardens, and as if to compensate for the relatively fewer flowers, this season brings us a wealth of fruits, nuts and seeds.

This post is part of the Mosaic Monday meme,
and also part of the Through my Lens meme,
and also part of the Seasons meme.

Victorian box (Pittosporum undulatum)

Broad-leaf Pprivet (Ligustrum lucidum)

Hawthorn haws (Crataegus monogyna)

Stinking Iris (Iris foetidissima)

  1. Wow! You found a lot of nuts to photograph! And I love those cones. I pick up pinecones in the Fall here and put them in baskets. Hugs, Diane

  4. Beautiful berry colours, deep and rich, the casuarina is not one I know. The birds down under will love these for sure.
