LITERATURE LANE AGAIN
Literature Lane is Melbourne’s newest lane (launched Monday, 21 May 2012). Literature Lane will be a lasting legacy of the National Year of Reading as well as a celebration of Melbourne’s UNESCO City of Literature status. It is a U-shaped lane off Little Latrobe St. There is a wealth of graffiti, art and new architecture (and see that patterned screen giant mural on the office block!) blending with the old around this lane.
This post is part of the Monday Murals meme,

ReplyDeleteWow, there's a lot to take in and a style for every taste. I liked the koala paste up too. And if you don't look up you'd miss the giant mural on the building. How'd they do that? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteExcellent murals. Love the Koala Bears.
ReplyDeleteThe map points to Collins 234 which is at the other end of Melbourne to Little La Trobe Street?
