AT CHADSTONE SHOPPING CENTRE

Chadstone is described as "The Fashion Capital" and is Australia’s largest shopping centre and a world-renowned fashion and entertainment hub for local and international visitors. It maintains that it offers an all-encompassing retail experience, Featuring over 550 stores, designer boutiques and over 30 luxury brands. Visitors can now shop, dine, play and stay with the 5-star Hotel Chadstone on site.

SHOPPING CENTRE

Like any large metropolis, Melbourne has its fair share of large shopping complexes scattered all over the suburbs. Generally one can find whatever one wants (and occasionally what one needs!) concentrated in one location with easy, free parking. Here is Highpoint West Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong. You'd be forgiven to think that you were anywhere else in the world in one of the big urban centres. But I'm being too cynical perhaps, yes it is convenient.

AT THE SHOPPING CENTRE

The Doncaster Shopping Centre, one of the big branded such places around Melbourne. Although I don't particularly like them, sometimes I visit one of them as the specific shop I need is conveniently located there. The shopping centres I like more are the old-fashioned "village style" or "strip shopping streets" (see here). Which do you like?
