The Gallery Unbound is opening on the 8th January at 497 High St Northcote, 3070, Vic with an exhibition of works by four artists. One of them is me, @jammysevenk.

Come and join us at the celebration of the opening and meet the exhibiting artists at the Gallery on Friday January 10, 2025, 6-8 pm. I'll be glad to see you there.

CAMBERWELL ART SHOW 2024

We visited the Camberwell Art Show last Saturday at the Swinburne University of Technology's Hawthorn Campus. It was a very well-organised, extensive showing of works by well-known, emerging and amateur artists. As always well-curated and displayed in a commodious and interesting setting. A most enjoyable outing once again this year!

AT THE ART BOOK FAIR

Featuring the world’s most creative emerging and established publishers, artists and writers, Melbourne Art Book Fair 2024 presents a diverse program of ideas, discussions and book launches. The National Gallery of Victoria's Great Hall was a splendid venue for the event. It is on until the 2nd June. More details here.

HELLO MINI BEASTS

We were at the Pacific Epping Shopping Centre the other day and we chanced upon the Mini Beasts exhibition, where four tiny critters of the Australian bush were represented by gigantic interactive sculptures - fun!

ART FAIR

Today we visited the Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne. It was a massive event with hundreds of pieces of art and tens of galleries represented. One of the bonuses was that many of the artists were also present and were standing beside their works, ready to have a friendly chat about them. Although most of the prices were quite reasonable, there were a few paintings that were a little on the pricey side. Nevertheless, this was an event that we thoroughly delighted in and the standard of the art was truly amazing!
