Last Monday was a very frosty morning and the temperature was close to zero even after the sun had risen. A walk in the park proved to be quite bracing.

FROSTY MORNING

It was a very cold night and an icy morning in Melbourne today. The temperature was 2˚C when I went out at 7:45 am and there was quite a lot of frost around. Even though it was sunny and fine, there was definitely a chill in the air. At the Darebin Parklands the birds didn't seem to mind the cold and a little Willy Wagtail was having breakfast at one of the ponds.
