ReplyDeleteThis is my very favourite part of Melbourne, partially because I have always lived in or near St Kilda and partially because it is where I do all my socialising.
ReplyDeleteThe pier, gardens, Palais, Esplanade Hotel etc... all amazing. The only thing you haven't covered (and it would be difficult to do) are the sublime cake and coffee shops along the Ackland St footpaths.
Great series a Nick. Decades ago it provided the first abode for many migrants to our country.
