AUTUMN IN MELBOURNE

We are beginning to see more and more signs of Autumn in Melbourne. The last of the roses are blooming, the rose hips are ripening, numerous fruits and berries are maturing and the leaves have begun to turn gold and orange.

This post is part of the Monday Mellow Yellows meme,
and also part of the Mandarin Orange Monday meme,
and also part of the Nature Footsteps Inspiring Photography meme.

  4. I am glad it is you that is moving into fall and not me. Our winter was the hardest in many years and I am just now beginning to see signs of spring ... very welcome signs. That said, your oranges are beautiful and fall is usually my favorite time of year so I am loving these pictueres of color and light and joy. Great post, Nick ...

  5. I like your color schemes of flowers and berries. I love the custardy Strawberry tree fruits, I don't see them much up here but there are a few around, they did not do well for me. That is a beautiful color of Hibiscus, with the golden edges on the hot pink flower, and I also like the Lantana hot orange.
