ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the city.
ReplyDeleteI´m not really a city girl, but I like the trees everywhere in the city :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some of my favourite places, thank you :)
ReplyDeleteJust one question - what is that green decoration in the 4th photo?
Hi Hels, this is building 22 of RMIT Uni. It is one of the most visited buildings of RMIT, which is a thoroughly refurbished relic from 1912. It is home to the Info Centre and features those large "green clouds" of tiles on its facade, earning it the nickname "the Brain". Originally built for the Singer Sewing Machine company in 1912, the building now boasts large green shapes on the street canopy and along its glass rooftop atrium. The shapes are made of the same Penrose tiling used in the refurbishment of the adjacent Storey Hall.
DeleteI'm betting you're still lots warmer than we were yesterday when people were dropping like bowling pins on the ice.
