A HOT CHRISTMAS DAY

We had a very hot Christmas Day in Melbourne today, with the temperature rising to 37˚C. Needless to say many people enjoyed Christmas outside with picnic hampers, BBQs and seafood and salad meals. The kookaburras at the Darebin parklands are enjoying a meal of lizards!

Hope you enjoyed your Christmas wherever you are and whatever your weather was like!

  2. I can't imagine eating a picnic at Christmas but in that weather I couldn't imagine eating a roast dinner

  3. I always enjoy the lush landscapes of Northern Europe. There is something so special about their rich greens.

Yet I love AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPES EVEN MORE, TNE DULL OLIVE GREENS AND THE BARKY TREES. My favourite temperature range is within 25c-32c. More that that, bushfires become risky. Less than that, summer hasn't started yet.

    Have a great New Year.

  5. Yes. Christmas Day was a warm one in our world. I recorded 40 degrees here in Dromana. The air was so heavy with heat, even at Portsea where we had Christmas lunch.
