NORTHCOTE AQUATIC CENTRE

The Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre is located at 180 Victoria Road, Northcote VIC 3070 and their website is http://www.northcote.ymca.org.au/discover.html

One may swim in the pools, enjoy other water-based activities, exercise in the excellent gym or join various activity classes (such as ZUMBA*), have a massage or physio, play tennis, enjoy a cup of coffee in the café or shop for gear at the shop.

The photos are from this early, (rather nippy, but fine, Winter) morning, taken as I was walking to the centre for my daily gym session :-)

* Zumba |ˈzʊmbə| noun [ mass noun ] trademark

  8. Ooooh, would I love to swim in that pool. It's been years since I've swum because there are no public pools in town. I finally tried zumba. I enjoyed it. Just not that particular class. The teacher had too many tweeking steps, which began to crack me up by the end of hour.
