DAWN ON THE YARRA

As we approach the Winter Solstice in Melbourne, we are beginning to get some slightly cooler weather, although up till now Winter has been unusually mild. Nevertheless, if one gets up very early it is quite nippy, especially if the night has been clear and cloudless. The sight of the moon above the city buildings and the colours of the rising sun do compensate one for the early start and the cold...
