SPOILT FOR CHOICE
We are very lucky in Melbourne to have numerous places where to go and shop for fresh fruit and vegetables. Whether it is dedicated greengrocer shops in strip shopping centres or malls, weekly farmers' markets, weekend markets or permanent large central markets like the Victoria Market, Footscray Market, Preston Market, Coburg Market, etc, the choice is amazing.

Terrific markets, Nick, and so colorful! I would love to shop there -- in all of them!! Terrific captures as always! Hope your week is going well!
ReplyDeleteWhen I travel, I enjoy going into foreign grocery stores and seeing the different products and displays... and signs.
ReplyDeleteThe prices look fairly similar to those here! Such lush displays.
ReplyDeleteWow - the displays are great - my mouth is watering. the fruit looks fresh and delicious!
ReplyDeleteBut your prices are soooo high! At least compared to American dollars. Love the photo of the chili peppers!
ReplyDeleteWow, that all looks so tasty.
ReplyDeleteI want to whip up a salad just looking at these photos. We are lucky to have so much choice.
ReplyDeletesuch beautiful colors! i haven't seen peaches up close and personal.:p we only have canned peaches here. and fresh cherries here cost like gold! i'd love to get some broccoli.:p
ReplyDeletei love going to the fruit and vegetable markets, especially the organic market here on weekends. but because of the heat and humidity, fruits and veggies have wilted by afternoon. so most of our fruits still come from the supermarket which is airconditioned.:p
