La Trobe University is a multi-campus university, established in in 1964 by an Act of Parliament to become the third oldest university in the state of Victoria. Its main campus based in Bundoora, a northern outer suburb of Melbourne Australia. It has extensive grounds with much native vegetation and wildlife within an extensive lake and creek system, making it a very pleasant environment for its students and staff. The public can also access these grounds, and at weekends there is Sunday market in the car park.

KINGSBURY DVE COMMUNITY MARKET

The Kingsbury Drive Community Market is held every Sunday between 9am and 1pm. Stallholders sell a large variety of crafts, bric-a-brac and plants.The market is managed by Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS).  Income from the market is used to fund the various community services provided by DVCS. The market is located in Car Park 2, La Trobe University, Kingsbury Drive, Bundoora.

LATROBE UNIVERSITY NATIVE PARK

La Trobe University is a multi-campus university in Victoria, Australia. It was established in 1964 by an Act of Parliament to become the third oldest university in the state of Victoria. The main campus of La Trobe is located in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora, on an extensive tract of land with much native flora, lakes and waterways. Most of the trees seen here are Eucalypts ("gum trees").

We often go by the La Trobe University Sunday market as it is full of life and there are some great bargains to be found there, especially so the nursery items, flowers and fresh food. The flowers are always a pleasure to behold and the hyacinths have already started to appear, even though they are meant to be Spring flowers! The prices as you can see in the signs are very reasonable.

La Trobe University is a multi-campus university in Victoria, Australia. It was established in 1964 by an Act of Parliament to become the third oldest university in the state of Victoria.The main campus of La Trobe is located in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora; two other major campuses are located in the Victorian city of Bendigo and the NSW-Victorian border centre of Albury-Wodonga. The university has a number of smaller campuses at Mildura, Shepparton, and Beechworth as well as a campus in Melbourne's CBD.

La Trobe University Library is one of Australia's leading academic libraries and operates as one library service across all campuses. A large and growing proportion of the Library's scholarly information resources are available in digital format and can be accessed by all students and staff, regardless of location.The Borchardt Library at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus holds the largest proportion of the total physical collection, delivers centralised services for all campus libraries, and provides a library service to the CBD campuses.

AGORA THEATRE - LA TROBE UNIVERSITY

The Agora is an open plaza at La Trobe University, in Melbourne's outer Northern suburb of Bundoora. The Agora is the main hub of La Trobe and indeed the centre of the university revolving around the circle of lawn and surrounded by the Library, services, food and coffee shops galore. One of the main attractions is the Agora Theatre, which has a fine mural adorning its façade. The mural was painted in June 1987 by Linda and Ray Richards and is still doing well in terms of preservation!
