TOWN HALL IN TRICOLOUR

Some of Melbourne's most iconic buildings were lit up in red, white and blue on Saturday, in solidarity with France following the Paris terror attacks. The Arts Centre’s spire and the National Gallery of Victoria, the MCG and the Town Hall were illuminated in the colours of the French flag. Melbourne is echoing international cities including New York, which lit the One World Trade Centre blue, white and red to mark the horrific events that left at least 130 people dead in Paris on November 13th.

  2. Unfortunately our head of state refuses to acknowledge that there is a war going on in this world and that all of our allies would like to see us show some support. Many private entities have shown their concern and support for France by lighting their buildings in the Blue, White and Red of the French flag, but our lack of leadership in Washington appears to show no interest in expressing any type of message of unity against the Islamic Radical terrorists. It is a sad day in this country. Very nice image.

  3. So tragic that the actions of an evil few garner more attention than the frequent acts of generosity and kindness shown by the rest of us.
