SCORCHER

We've had a very hot day today with the mercury striking the 40˚C mark this afternoon. After the relatively mild temperatures in the previous week or so, this was a day that hit us like a sledge hammer. Tomorrow is going to bring no relief with another hot day predicted. If we are lucky, the temperatures will drop and a much desired cool change will occur on Sunday. The photo below was taken early in the morning and it was still quite hot then.

    I was driving around the country side on New Year's Day and everything was brown, dry and perfect for bush fire :(

    I can only hope that everyone has their Fire Plan in place and is safe.
