A lovely old house in my neighbourhood, festooned with humble geraniums, looking very much like a picture-book old suburban home. Alas, such houses are becoming rarer as they are sold to developers, who demolish and build units or apartments... The face of Melbourne is rapidly changing and the suburbs are becoming overcrowded, gardens are disappearing and noise, traffic and pollution are increasing.
