SIDEWALK MIRROR

Last weekend we had a "Hard Rubbish" weekend, where households leave all of their big pieces of junk and unwieldy rubbish o the nature for the Council to collect. Most Councils around Melbourne do this once or twice a year. It is surprising how much junk is left on the sidewalk, but also some "treasures". One frequently sees utes or cars with trailers picking up some of the "rubbish", giving it a second lease of life. It's true what they say about "one man's poison is another man's meat"...

While walking we saw this mirrored door left out for the "Hard Rubbish" collection. It was quite incongruous out there on the nature strip, but at least it provided an opportunity for some unusual shots.
