We have been enjoying some sunny, mellow Autumn days in Melbourne lately. A lunchtime walk around the City was pure bliss!

Lots of people enjoying the sun and a bite to eat in Hardware Lane. The plane trees in city streets have begun turning colour and losing leaves, and the old Queen Victoria hospital around which the QV retail centre is built glowed in the warm sun.

This post is part of the Our World Tuesday meme,
and also part of the Ruby Tuesday meme.

  1. That's a great autumn and beautiful photos.

  2. Dun looks grand!! Boom & Gary.

  3. Yes!! Hardware Lane and the other lanes that have been converted into open air eateries are the best place for City workers to have lunch - activity, colour, gorgeous sunshine and company.

  4. How fortunate we have been to have such sunshine over the past few days Nick. The Autumn warmth has been wonderful.

  5. Thanks for inserting the place names Nick. Brings back so many fond memories. David.
