SKYSCRAPER SKY

And the skyscrapers keep going up in Melbourne... An amazing amount of construction is going on and not only in the City. In the suburbs too, there are new multi-story apartment buildings being built and some voices of concern are being raised, but it is too late. Once there is a precedent, it is difficult to stem the development.

Here are a couple of high-rise apartment blocks in Southbank. Lots more are being built and  even more are being planned. Infrastructure is lagging behind and the means of limiting overcrowding, traffic, noise, pollution are not being thought about.
