A couple of weeks ago I showed you one of the murals in Maling Lane, Canterbury, which you can see here.

Here is another mural from the series. I also give you in the last photo the real building depicted in the mural, from the same vantage point.

This post is part of the Monday Mellow Yellows meme,
and also part of the Monday Murals meme,
and also part of the Blue Monday meme.

  1. Now that's special...I'm thrilled you've let us see more of the murals Nick,
This street shows just what we'll miss if we keep giving in to huge shopping Malls.
They're all the same inside and you could be anywhere in the world once you set foot inside.
Well done to everyone who fought to keep it!
Fantastic shot of the real building along with the mural...and to have the blue metro train included too...very clever! ;D

  2. Hello Nick,

I like the painting better because it shows blue umbrellas rather than straw. Thanks for sharing your blues.

    Happy Blue Monday!

  3. Great photos of murals for HBM ~ carol

  4. Love it when you can see the actual building!

  5. Excellent one, very creative

  6. Hello Nick
Mailing Road will be thrilled to see, not one but two posts of your wonderful photos.
Very clever of you to get the Belgrave train in the background on the bridge.

  7. I like seeing the contrast between the eras of Maling Rd. The photo of this same scene is a fun addition. Shows the artist was painting true to life. Sounds like a lively community. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  8. The proportions on that Woodstock Mural look pretty right to me Nick.

  9. The lively colours in the mural are very special, with great street appeal. Gorgeous.
