CREEK

The quietly flowing waters of Darebin Creek in the Darebin Parklands are always a joy to see, but especially so on such gentle, sunny days such as this one.

    Lovely and peaceful. I imagine it would be a lovely place to be on a hot afternoon.

    Nick, when I was a little girl, my friends and I would often play in the creek. The rocks were covered with algae making for a slippery step. Sometimes we'd look for crawdads (small critters resembling lobsters) and tadpoles. That was a simple, sweet time.
