From the cutting edge to classic, boutique to big time, top budget extravaganza to thrift store economy, Melbourne is the place to shop. Melbourne has been voted the shopping capital of Australia and its vibrant retail scene is alive with alluring labels, a huge variety of products and amazing shopping experiences – some home grown, some world-renowned. The small quirky shops fascinate me and this is an example of a "nostalgia ware" shop in Melbourne Central. The sign is vintage and from New Orleans... Despite its warning, one is quite safe from both in Melbourne - well maybe from one of them?

Oh, I love the sign!! And, yes, always be aware of the women -- loose or otherwise! Have a great weekend, Nick!

ReplyDeleteHi Nick,
ReplyDeleteGreat capture!
Wonderful capture, Nick. I love old shops like this. I must admit to never having travelled to Melbourne for shopping. But I do haunt old wares places for images like this!
